To celebrate the Day of the Dead, Spanish classes made ofrendas, or offerings, during class on Oct. 31.People often make ofrendas to honor their loved ones who have died.
The Nurse Aide classes are hosting a fundraiser for Pat Conner, a community member who was recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. The program has partnered with Pure Eats to sell donuts to raise money for Conner’s treatments. For more information, call RCHS at (540) 463-5555.
