Hot weather brought ice cream lovers out to the Palmer Communiyt Center where the annual Effinger Ruritan Ice Cream Supper washeld this past Saturday. All but the chocolate, vanilla and cofee flavors sold out. In addition to the ice cream, burgers, French fries, vegetarian chili, barbecue sandwiches and corn on the cob were prepared and served by dozens of hard-working volunteers.
