The 68th annual Deacon Family reunion was held at Mt. Horeb Methodist Church on Saturday, Aug. 10. Fiftyeight individuals attended from numerous parts of Virginia.
The Effinger Ruritan Club’s ice cream supper will be held at Palmer Community Center Saturday, Aug. 17, beginning at 4 p.m.
