Due to 11 mph wind gusts on Sunday evening, all piloted and tethered balloon rides were canceled. But there were still plenty of activities to partake of at the annual Balloons Over Rockbridge event. The Pickup Band (above) provided musical entertainment all evening and there were ample food choices and games for children. Cooling stations like the one in the CornerStone Bank booth enjoyed immense popularity in the intense heat and plenty of cold water was available. The day ended with the balloon glow at 9.
