The Greater Rockbridge County Skateboarder Coalition will present “Taking The Park Back” this Saturday, June 29, from noon to 4 p.m. at the Lexington Skateboard Park.
The entry fee will be $10, which will also enter participants into a 50/50 raffle.
There will be peer-judged mini-ramp and street contests, along with a game of SKATE. An arcade will be set up for $8 for all you can play, and there will be two Virginia-based companies selling skateboards.
The event will also feature barbecue and electronic music provided by Trickle Down Effects and Electrobro.
