April 23, 2024 Editor, The News-Gazette: With the rising protests against Israel and America predominant at our college and universities in support of Hamas to murder all Jews, thank God it hasn’t come to W&L.
The question to the city of Lexington is, are we going to permit Black Lives Matter to raise money using our parks and Main Street to support Hamas?
Remember, Black Lives Matter started during the Obama administration and ever since they have acted like a terrorist organization. They sang songs to murder police, they burned down towns in 2020 and just recently supported Hamas to murder all Jews.
To the mayor, vice mayor, city manager and City Council: as a citizen and taxpayer of Lexington, I am asking that Black Lives Matter not be able to raise money using our Main Street and parks. I hope you feel the same. FRED CLARK Lexington
