April 26, 2024 Editor, The News-Gazette: We are fortunate to have the opportunity every two years to select our representative to the U.S. Congress. This person has the responsibility to make decisions that will support the Constitution, protect citizen rights and maintain our national security. Our current representative has failed on these fronts - voting against democratic norms time and time again. Failure to support aid to Ukraine, voting against the strongest bipartisan border control legislation in decades and denying the votes of citizens are just a few examples.
