Community-building in the neighborhood was the theme when residents and friends gathered for a block party and cookout on Massie Street in Lexington, hosted on April 6 by the Racial Equity Coalition. Brandall Branch (below) tends the grill, while Roger Crockett and Nick Betts (below, left) take on the corn hole challenge, and Marquita Dunn (at left, behind table) welcomes a group to the event, which celebrated the history and diversity of Diamond Hill, Green Hill and Centerville.
