Pagnam Retires From RACS

Donna Pagnam officially retired from Rockbridge Area Community Services on April 5.

She came to RACS in 2018 as part of a second career and it did not take long for her make her mark in the prevention department.

“Donna brought so much spirit to the prevention team through her story-telling and remarkable sense of humor. She became a shining light and found ways to not only bring the curriculum to life for the youth through voice modulations and costumes but also kept the prevention team on their toes and rolling with laughter,” said BreAnne Rogers, her former supervisor.

Although Pagnam’s stay with RACS was for a short time, she impacted the lives of all the children she taught and those she connected with at the agency, said Jenna Cline, the Prevention Services Program manager.

“We are very fortunate that when Donna decided to start a new career she chose to have it at RACS,” said Cline. “Every day was an adventure with Donna and she will be deeply missed by the schools, the staff and all of the children that she worked with. Donna is retiring to begin a new chapter in her life that will be full of adventure and travel that will surely create with wildest stories you could ever hear.”
