Celebration Next Week
All rising kindergarten students in Buena Vista, Rockbridge County and Lexington and their families are invited to the annual “A Day in K” event at Maury River Middle School on Thursday, April 25, from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
The children and their families can meet local kindergarten teachers and school staff, along with many community partners, local law enforcement, fire and rescue members.
Free children’s books, book bags, snacks and door prizes will be available.
