Fred Mitchell, NASA Solar System Ambassador, will present “A Solar Eclipse Primer” at the Glasgow Library on Tuesday, March 26, at 6 p.m.
Mitchell will discuss the upcoming solar eclipse on April 8 and present updates on lunar missions and solar missions. Night sky viewing will follow the program, weather permitting.
Mitchell has been teaching high school chemistry for 25 years and is a life-long space enthusiast. He has been selected Teacher of the Year two times and won the 2017 McGlothlin Award for Teaching Excellence.
