SOME OF THE ARTIFACTS in the Brownsburg Museum’s new “Interwoven” exhibit include houseware and personal items informally known as “Make-do’s.” These items would have been cast away but could be retrieved by enslaved persons, repaired, and used for everyday or Sunday best.
