At a congregational meeting on Sunday, Feb. 25, the congregation of Oxford Presbyterian Church voted to call the Rev. Kyle Segars to be their full-time minister. He will start his duties here on April 15.
Debbie Knick served as chairman of the pulpit nominating committee, along with Buz Birzenieks, Will Harris, Trudy Melvin and Carolyn Yawars. Each committee member commented on why they thought that the Rev. Segars would be the right minister for the church.
Dr. Nancy Meehan was guest minister at Oxford Church on Sunday morning and she also moderated the congregational meeting.
Faith Vosburgh will talk about herbs at the adult forum at Oxford Church on Sunday, March 3, at 10 a.m.
