First Lt. William “Bill” D. Shrack and Barbara “Boo” Beeton Shrack of Kerrs Creek recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.
They were married Oct. 26, 1963, at Fairfax Methodist Church by the Reverend Clarke.
First Lt. Shrack, who served in the Marines from 1962 to 1964, went on to work for General Mills in Minnesota and retired back to Rockbridge County.
They have two children, Tom Shrack and his wife Jennifer, and Tracey Gray and her husband David Gray; six grandchildren and four greatgrandchildren.
