The students of Rockbridge Christian Academy held its annual Shoebox Packing Day on Monday. The shoebox gifts were filled with toys, school supplies, and hygiene items for children around the world. Students brought in the items, packed the boxes in the classrooms and then had a dedication ceremony where they prayed for those that would receive the boxes. The students packed 84 boxes. The project is part of Samaritan’s Purse Ministries, Operation Christmas Child. (Stephanie Mikels Blevins photos)
