The University Wind Ensemble will present “Musical (R)Evolution” on Monday, Nov. 6 at 8 p.m. in the Wilson Concert Hall at Washington and Lee University.
The University Wind Ensemble will push the boundaries of traditional band repertoire while also paying tribute to the early revolutionaries of the genre, said a spokesperson. The UWE will explore numerous spatial, tonal and conceptual possibilities through the works of Eric Whitaker, Michael Sweeney, and many more.
