The Lexington Police Department, in partnership with the Lexington Police Foundation, is having a “back to school” community picnic Aug. 12 at Richardson Park from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Free backpacks with school supplies will be given out while supplies last. There will be free food and snow cones and a bounce house for the kids. Music will be provided by Rick n’ Shel.
