Wednesday, May 17 – In postseason baseball action, Parry McCluer High School defeated Covington 13-3 in the Pioneer District quarterfinals on Tuesday evening in Buena Vista.
The second-seeded Fighting Blues (11-7 overall, 8-4 district) will play host to third-seeded Highland County (11-10, 6-6) in the district semifinals on Thursday at 5 p.m. Seventh-seeded Covington concluded its season at 4-18 overall and 2-10 in the district.
