PHMS recently held its first performances of “Murder at the Masquerade!” The production brought mystery, giving audience members an exciting theatrical experience. The performers worked together to bring the story to life, keeping the viewers curious about what would happen next. With a masquerade setting and a mystery waiting to be solved, the production invites spectators to question what they know and wonder who might be hiding something. It will also have two shows this weekend, Oct. 29 and 30 at 5:30 p.m.
Every week, Parry McCluer High School has a "Friday Show.” It is a compilation of things that have happened over the week, such as sports or academic events. However, that’s not all; we also have fun non-school segments every week! Check it out on YouTube at https://www.youtube.com/@pmhsfridayshow.
On Oct. 12, Buena Vista Public Schools hosted their annual Academic All Star Evening by giving out medals to students who excelled in their studies. Students who got A’s and B’s during their entire school year were given medals, which is an achievement to celebrate! The grades who received these medals vary from third to 12th. And, as usual, the principals from each school came to congratulate each student on their success. Seniors who had a 3.5 received an academic jacket.
