‘In His Arms’ Supper To Benefit VPAS Programs

Fairfield United Methodist Church will conduct its next “In His Arms” community supper Thursday, Nov. 5, from 5 to 7 p.m. in the fellowship hall.

Proceeds from this event will benefit the local services provided by the Valley Program for Aging Services for Alzheimer’s/dementia patients and their caregivers.

While this event will benefit residents of the Rockbridge area, it is being hosted in honor of Raymond and Jennifer Patterson. In conjunction with this local effort, Raymond’s employer, Hershey’s Chocolate, is also providing a monetary contribution to the Augusta County VPAS office for dementia support services.

All charitable contributions from the dinner will go to the Maury Services VPAS office i n B uena V ista. V PAS will have a representative at the supper who will answer questions about these support programs as well as any other concerns senior citizens may have.
