Southern Virginia University invites runners, walkers, and community members of all ages to participate in the annual Knight Run 5K Race. The event will benefit the Jane Armstrong Scholarship, which directly supports students from the Rockbridge community.
The event will take place on Oct. 31, with the 5K starting at 9:30 a.m. in front of the Stoddard Center and the free Knights in Training Obstacle Course for children at 11:30 a.m. at the Harvey- Dryden Rugby Fields, right next to the football field.
Participants are encouraged to get creative and wear Halloween or festive attire, as prizes will be awarded for a costume contest. All registered runners will receive an official Knight Run t-shirt.
Participants can register online by scanning the QR code on event materials or visiting Southern Virginia University’s official channels. Packet pickup will occur inside the front lobby of Main Hall from 3 to 6 p.m. on Oct. 30 or from 8 to 9 a.m. on Saturday by the starting line.
