Ansted: ‘Change Starts At The Local Level’

Amber Ansted is running for public office for the first time this year, seeking one of the three seats up for election on Lexington City Council. She has lived in Lexington for more than a decade after moving from Buena Vista with her husband and then 3-month-old child. In that time, she has helped manage two small businesses, a short-term rental property within the city, and an event venue in the county.
