It's officially fall y'all! Some of you may remember that Lexington hosted a Taste of Home Cooking School. It was a 2 hour cooking demonstration with recipes created and tested by Taste of Home kitchen. The News-Gazette printed special tabs for when the cooking school came to town. It was a way for the sponsors of the event to advertise their products and to publish some of the special recipes for the community to enjoy.
In this issue, from September 2000, the host for that year's cooking school writes a short introduction and talks about how much she loves what she does. You'll find ads from sponsors, like the Rockbridge Farmer's Co-Op and Ladles & Lines, along with 7 fall recipes from Taste of Home and a quiz.
