Fending off a comeback, the Parry McCluer High School football team earned a 13-12 home win over Luray on Friday night at Bobby Williams Field in Buena Vista.
The Fighting Blues (4-1) led 13-6 at halftime and held on for the victory over the Bulldogs (3-2) to end a three-game to end a three-game homestand for PM.
In their last game before Pioneer District action begins, the Blues will travel to Moneta next Friday to take on Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy (0-4).
