At Rockbridge NNO

A large number of local families turned out for Rockbridge National Night Out at Maury River Middle School on Friday night, where they were able to interact with a wide variety of law enforcement, public safety and other community organizations. Among the activities were (at top left) Rockbridge County Sheriff’s deputies making balloon animals for children; (at top right) children playing the prize wheel at the Buena Vista Police Department’s booth; (above left) children playing a game with the Scouts; (at left and below) raising the American flag on the Lexington Fire Department’s ladder truck as the VMI color guard presents the flags; (at bottom left) volunteers serving up hot dogs at the ConnectionsPlus tent; and (second from bottom below) children doing crafts.
