Campus Kitchen at Washington and Lee University will present a talk by Hannah Wyatt, staff attorney for food security and public benefits at the Virginia Poverty Law Center, at 5:30 p.m. on Sept. 29.
The talk, titled “Virginia and the State of Food Assistance,” will be held virtually on Zoom, and registration is required: https://go.wlu.edu/ckwlzoom.
Wyatt will discuss updates to the Supplemental Nutrition Access Program (SNAP), the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC) and other critical food relief programs, as well as explore avenues for advocacy.
