The Rockbridge County High School competition cheerleading team will hold the Wildcat Rumble today, Wednesday, at 7 p.m.
The competition will take place in the RCHS gym. Admission is $7. The Wildcats switched from the Valley District to the Shenandoah District this year. RC had a strong start to the season on Saturday at the Big Orange Invitational at Heritage High School in Lynchburg.
RC, under the direction of head coach Shannon Bryan, placed third in the Wildcat Rumble last September and went on to place second in the Shenandoah District competition in October before placing sixth in the Region 3C competition.
A story and photos from the competition will be in next week’s newspaper.
