On Thursday at the Rockbridge Regional Fair, Steve Hart and daughter Felicity Hart gave a demonstration on their American Milking Devon. The breed has been in America for over 200 years and is known for its fortitude – it is not bothered by extreme heat or cold. Each cow can produce 1½ to 2 gallons of milk a day.
