Aug. 3, 2026 Editor, The News-Gazette: I’m a few years on the shady side of sixty, but I love “Back to School” time. It means there will be lots of really nice, colorful school supplies, especially at places like Wal-mart. There are my favorite pink and magenta composition books (as well as other hues), document folders that come in popsicle colors that I can almost taste, and ballpoint pens in brilliant pinks, teals, purples and greens.
