Kerrs Creek

Rachel Clark, (630) 607-9938 [email protected]

New Monmouth Presbyterian Church continues its summer worship schedule through Labor Day weekend with worship at 10 am. Thank you to Sara Dunlap and Tim Hodges for leading the praise song “He Cares for Me.” Thank you to Dianne Swink for being our pianist for worship. The session gathered after church for their monthly meeting after worship. The witness service committee will have a meeting on Aug. 23 right after church. Also on Aug. 23 at 3 p.m. there will be an ice cream social at the creek (118 Low Bridge Lane). Bring a camping chair to sit and enjoy some fellowship time with your ice cream. We will also celebrate communion by the creek! Aug. 30 is music Sunday — please let Casey or Rachel Clark know if you’d like to provide music. A potluck luncheon will follow with tortillas and meat being provided. Please bring a salad, fruit, taco topping or dessert to share. The Baja mission team will share about their trip.

Sept. 6-13 is Global Prayer Week. We will have a signup form to commit to praying during specific hours throughout the week. We’d like to fill out as much of the calendar as we can and commit to praying as a church throughout that whole week.

We will return to our fall schedule with Sunday school at 10 a.m. and church service at 11 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 13. This will be our fall kick off and we encourage everyone to bring a friend to church. We will celebrate communion during the worship service.
