Rockbridge Regional Library will host Books & Brews Book Club at Heliotrope Brewery on Tuesday, Aug. 11, at 4 p.m. for a discussion of John Green’s bestselling book “Everything Is Tuberculosis: The History and Persistence of Our Deadliest Infection.”
“Everything Is Tuberculosis” tells the history of our understanding of tuberculosis and its treatment. Interwoven through the information is the story of a young tuberculosis patient from Sierra Leone. Green also challenges readers to think about why a preventable and treatable disease remains one of the world’s deadliest.
