Editor’s note: Lexington’s new resident professional theater company New Views Theatre opened its new play “Planet First” this past weekend at the Lenfest Center. Among Saturday night’s audience was Melissa Shirin from California who used to live in Houston. When she lived in Houston, she saw plays presented in Jennifer Decker’s theater there. Decker is the director of “Planet First.” Shirin offered the following review of the play, which will resume this Friday for the second and final weekend of shows.
