Manly Memorial Baptist Church has called the Rev. Kate Bradley to serve as its associate pastor. She was installed during the church’s 11 a.m. worship service on Sunday, Aug. 2, at the church, 202 S. Main St., Lexington.
Bradley comes to Lexington with a background in ministry, education, and youth leadership. She has served in part-time roles as a children’s ministry director, youth pastor, missions intern with the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship of Virginia, and assistant director for Passport Camps. She brings experience with curriculum development, teaching, recruiting volunteers, and fostering intergenerational worship. Most recently, she taught middle school in Ohio for four years.
A native of Blacksburg, Bradley grew up at Blacksburg Baptist Church, where she was later ordained to the ministry. She holds a bachelor’s degree in international affairs and French from the University of Mary Washington and a Master of Divinity degree from Campbell University.
Bradley and her husband, Ryan, moved to the Lexington area at the end of July.
