In a survey, a majority of Lexington merchants favored two-way traffic on Main and Nelson streets. - Residents from Rivermont Heights subdivision were considering requesting annexation by Buena Vista if the county failed to provide a better water system and road improvements. -A fragment of a soft-leaded bullet, probably from a .22 caliber pistol, was found inside the Buena Vista News office. Police Chief Erskin Campbell said the bullet apparently shattered when it hit the heavy plate glass window in the front of the building.
