Jan Hathorn and Laura de-Maria became the new owners of Cocoa Mill Chocolate Company.
- Melanie Falls was named principal at Effinger Elementary School and Rebecca Jarvis was tapped to be the next principal at Fairfield Elementary. Both women were educated at area public schools. - Rockbridge Area Tourism joined forces with the Roanoke Valley Visitors Bureau to produce a brochure promoting motorcycle rides in and around Rockbridge, Roanoke and points in between.
