Guests attending the service this past Sunday at High Bridge Presbyterian Church were Fabian Garther and son Josh of Hagen, Germany.
The Presbyterian Women’s mission for the third quarter will be Natural Bridge Elementary School. Betsy Shepard has a list of the items needed. Also, the PW were invited to attend a retreat with Chris and Courtney Thomas at their summer home at Claytor Lake. Attending were Amy Willis, Carol Tolley and Connie Powell.
The next evening circle meeting will be the first Tuesday in August at 6 with Garnette Teass. Afternoon circle meets Aug. 11 in the fellowship hall at 1 p.m.
The annual church picnic and worship service at Cave Mountain Lake will be held Aug. 30.
Beth Horon United Methodist Church will have its annual ice cream supper from 3 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 8. Hotdog plates will also be available to purchase.
The Natural Bridge community mourns the loss of Bobo Wines, brother of Carol Snead. He was a member of Natural Bridge High School class of 77.
The food pantry will open promptly at 9 a.m. on Saturday, July 25, and close at 11 a.m. They welcome donations of canned vegetables for the month of July.
