Words of great wisdom. Listening to a proven 34 count felon, a civil court-defined adjudicated rapist, a pathological liar, and all around con man ranting and raving, I wondered who would vote for this?
I mean, who in their right mind would actually believe that a man of such hideous character would actually do anything to help our working families?
The lack of discernment in many Trump voters who are asking the same question and regretting their votes has to do with the quote from Ecclisiates. “The quiet words of the wise” were impossible to hear over the shrill cries of the “fools” they were listening to on their choice of “news” broadcasts.
Rupert Murdoch, the owner of Fox “news” is one of the wealthiest men on the planet. He promotes “news” that attracts a certain type of viewer and whose viewership numbers attract advertising dollars = money.
So we end up with a certain type of viewer who may not be the most informed to begin with, and is further “dumbed down” by news that is truly the “fake” and distorted “news” they accuse the other news channels of promoting.
They then end up voting based on the false information they listen to, not understanding the terrible harm they are inflicting on their families in the government policies that are enacted as a result of their votes.
Please, folks, wake up and educate yourselves on the truth. Please watch PBS which takes money from both sides to support their channel. Even those of us who voted against Trump suffer the same consequences of his hideous policies in our daily lives. We need to vote for people and policies that have all of our best interests at heart.
