The Pickup Band will perform on the meadow stage at Boxerwood this Friday, July 10, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. The band is made up of experienced musicians Gloria Lewane on lead vocals; Kenton Koty on guitars, fiddle, banjo and mandolin; Phil Holstein on guitar and vocals; Jason VanNatten on bass guitar and vocals; and John Good on drums. The gate opens at 5:30 p.m. Admission is free for children and current Boxerwood members and $5 per adult for non-members. There’s no charge for parking in the field. There is dedicated handicapped parking and the terrain is suitable for wheelchairs. Attendees may bring their own beverages, lawn chairs and blankets and they are asked to pack up their own trash. Friendly, leashed dogs are welcome as long as owners clean up after them. In the event of rain, concerts will be postponed.
