The Litter Eliminators were presented with the Litter Cup at a recent Rockbridge County Board of Supervisors meeting for collecting the most trash in this year’s Community Cleanup. They cleaned an area along U.S. 60 from the Buena Vista Food Lion to the Lexington city limits. Gathered around the Litter Cup are (from left) Daniel Miear of the county department of solid waste and team members Larry Keel, Leslie Lee, Jenny Keel, Heather Sanchez, Elizabeth Knapp, Chuck Smith and Will Townes. The cleanup is sponsored by the county and Rockbridge Conservation.
