The Relay For Life of Rockbridge County committee is continuing to make plans for this year’s event on Saturday, Aug. 29, at Central Elementary School and is inviting everyone to get involved by joining a team, becoming a sponsor, or volunteering.
The next planning meeting will be held on Thursday, June 18, at 6 p.m. at Frank’s Pizza in Lexington. All are welcome to attend, learn more about the event, and find out how they can participate in the celebration of survivors, remembrance of loved ones, and commitment to a cancer-free future.
The Relay For Life of Rockbridge County also invites all cancer survivors and their caregivers to take part in this year’s event. Registration is free and open now at www. relayforlife.org/rockbridgeva.
