Q&A Set On Possible Local CREC Church
The Rev Jason Biette of Lynchburg will host a community question-and-answer session Wednesday, July 1, at 6 p.m. at Salerno’s in downtown Lexington.
Biette has been leading a small group Bible study in Lexington for a few months and, along with a number of Lexington families, is exploring the potential of planting a CREC (Communion of Reformed Evangelical Churches) church here.
“We desire to search out God’s will as to the pursuit of establishing a joyful and faithful CREC congregation in Lexington that glorifies Christ through reverent worship, covenant discipleship, and multigenerational Christian faithfulness,” he said.
Community members are encouraged to come meet Biette and some of the founding families, ask questions, and enjoy some light refreshments.
