The town of Goshen will hold its annual June Bash event on Saturday, June 27, from 1 to 8 p.m., at the town office building at 9742 Maury River Road.
The event will begin with a soap box derby race at 1 p.m. There will be three age groups for perspective racers: juniors (age six to 11), seniors (age 12 to 17), and adult (ages 18 and older). The vehicles will need to have steering and brakes and cannot have wheels that exceed 12 inches in diameter. Participants will be required to wear helmets. Racers can sign up for the race on the morning of June 27 and there is no registration fee.
Following the races, there will be games, vendors and a bounce house set up in front of town hall. Food provided by Unbridled Souls Barbecue’s food truck will also be available, and yard sales may be set up at or near the site. Live music will be provided by Keith Bryant from 2 to 4 p.m., Glen Shelton from 4 to 6 p.m., and Bruce Allen and Jason Burke from 6 to 8 p.m.
The event is free to attend.
