The 50 Ways for Palestine Group invites the community to its next teach-in, “The State of Health and Aid in Gaza and the West Bank,” on June 17 at 5:30 p.m. in the Piovano Room at the Rockbridge Regional Library.
A local medical professional who has worked extensively with Doctors Without Borders will speak about the challenges of providing medical care in Gaza and the West Bank under conditions of war, displacement, and severe shortages of supplies.
A second speaker has experience navigating the increasingly complicated processes of getting aid and support to families in Palestine. She will discuss the changing landscape of humanitarian assistance.
There will be plenty of time for questions and answers.
