The Friday’s Alive concert series sponsored by the LexingtonRockbridge Jaycees kicks off this Friday with The Pickup Band.
The group will perform starting at 5:30 p.m. at Davidson Park in Lexington. Admission is free, with food and drinks available for purchase.
“Bring your camping chairs and picnic blankets, and get ready for a fun evening for all ages,” said a spokesperson.
Four more concerts are on tap this summer. Little Marvin and the Martians will perform June 19, the Will Reid Band on July 10, the Party Crasher Band on July 31, and the Rosebud Band on Aug. 7.
