Children’s Entrepreneurial Fair At NB Farmers Market

Something special is happening at the Saturday morning Natural Bridge Farmers Market on June 20 - something bigger than vegetables, crafts, or homemade treats. It’s a reminder, say organizers, of what can happen when children are given a chance to dream, create, and be part of something meaningful.

This year marks the second annual Children’s Entrepreneurial Fair at the Natural Bridge Farmers Market, where local children will set up booths filled with handmade items, homegrown goods, baked treats, artwork, crafts, and entrepreneurial spirit.

For many of these young vendors, this market represents weeks of planning, creating, growing, baking, painting, and preparing. “They are learning lessons no classroom alone can teach; perseverance, communication, pride in their work, and the courage to put themselves out there,” said the spokesperson.

What makes this event especially inspiring, she said, is the way the community rallies around these children. “Every purchase, every smile, every encouraging word tells a child, ‘What you’re doing matters.’ That kind of support can stay with a young person for years, she said.

“If you would like your child to learn these values, you can learn more about the Children’s Fair at www.naturalbridgefarmersmarket. com or swing by the Natural Bridge Farmers Market on Saturdays from 9 to 1 and chat with the manager,” the spokesperson said.
