The Rockbridge County High School boys lacrosse team suffered a pair of road losses last week, falling 11-5 last Monday at William Byrd before coming up short 8-5 last Wednesday at Cave Spring.
With the setbacks, the Wildcats fell to 3-9, and their losing streak extended to seven games. Details from the games were not provided.
The Wildcats were scheduled to play at Albemarle on Monday. Tonight, Wednesday, the Wildcats will play host to William Byrd at The Fields at Southern Virginia University in Buena Vista, starting with junior varsity action at 5:30 p.m., with the varsity game scheduled to follow at 7. The location change is due to RC installing artificial turf on its home field, starting this week.
RC will conclude the regular season on Monday at Hidden Valley, with the 7 p.m. varsity boys’ game following the 5:30 p.m. varsity girls’ game.
