On Sunday, April 26, the Collierstown Presbyterian Church honored Burr Datz for his three years of ministry to the congregation as an interim pastor. He was presented with gifts and celebrated at a reception following worship service. Church members and community friends came together to express their appreciation for his leadership, music and faithful sharing of God’s Word with the congregation.

The Collierstown Presbyterian Church will recognize Chase Pooley, a member of the Rockbridge County High School class of 2026, during the 11 a.m. worship hour on Sunday, May 3. Following the morning worship service, a reception and fellowship time will be held on the church lawn to honor Chase and his family as he prepares for high school graduation on Thursday, May 21, at Cameron Hall. All are invited to take part in this special celebration.

The Night Circle of the Collierstown Presbyterian Church will hold its monthly meeting on Thursday, May 7, in the fellowship hall at 7. A time of fellowship will begin at 6:15 followed by the Bible study. All are invited to join the group in person or on Facebook Live from the church’s Facebook page at 7.

On Sunday, April 26, the Collierstown United Methodist Charge led an afternoon of hymn singing and special music for residents at Heritage Hall Health & Rehab Center.
