The weather was perfect Saturday for the annual Artapalooza in downtown Buena Vista. The spring event, sponsored by the Buena Vista Arts Council, offered a wide variety of art experiences. Among those were (at left) youths enjoying making giant bubbles at the Cooper Building Green Space; (below, at left) youngsters making bean mosaics outside of Coiner Country Store; and (below) children painting clay pots at Art on Magnolia/Little Beasties. Among the other sights and sounds at Artapalooza were (middle of the page) Parry McCluer Theater students presenting a scene from their upcoming production of “Alice By Heart”; (just below, right) children creating greeting cards at Leaf & Lore; (at right) children making glove story puppets at Assunder Coffee; and (above) the Parry McCluer Pep Band performing.
