The Rockbridge County High School girls soccer team dropped a pair of Shenandoah District games last week, falling 2-0 last Tuesday at Riverheads before coming up short 2-1 at home against Fort Defiance on Thursday.
With the losses, the Wildcats fell to 1-6-0, both overall and in the district.
Against Riverheads (5-1-1 overall and district), RC junior goalkeeper Caden Marshall made 14 saves.
Facing Fort Defiance (1-5-0 overall, 1-4-0 district), Marshall made 15 saves.
The Wildcats scored their only goal on a penalty kick by Lucy Boller-Pinkham.
RC will continue district action at Alleghany on Friday before playing at Staunton on Tuesday. Both nights will start with junior varsity action at 5:30 p.m., with the varsity games scheduled to follow at 7.
