Two local karate students recently won medals in The Shine on Shihan Invitational Karate Tournament in Utah. Ted Casperson (far left) won in the men’s Black Belt divisions -- first place in Forms, first place in Fighting, first place in Weapons and second place in Power Breaking. Lucas Casperson (far right) won in the boys’ 14-16-year-olds Brown Belt Division – first place in Forms, first place in Fighting, first place in Weapons and first place in Power Breaking.
